Are you coming to the end of your PGCE course and finding it stressful to start planning the next step?
We can help!
We all have times when we feel under pressure either in or outside of work. However if these stressful periods become too excessive or prolonged, the more detrimental it can be to your health and wellbeing.
Apollo Teaching Services are hosting a 60 minute Stress Reliever session to give you an overview of the signs and symptoms of stress and how to manage it more effectively. It includes:
• A definition of stress
• Causes of stress and common warning signs
• Coping strategies – what does and doesn’t help
• A brief introduction to Mindfulness
• Signposting to services & resources for additional support
The session will be led by a senior Occupational Therapist in association with Well-being Through Work Services and the Abertawe Bro Morganwg University Health Board.
The course is a fantastic opportunity to gain tips for reducing your stress levels, and will provide you with some pointers to help you spot the first signs of stress.
