Nat West Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2018

We are absolutely delighted to say that Faith Olding and Lee Powell have won the Entrepreneurs’ Team of the Year Award at the Nat West Great British Entrepreneurial Awards for Wales and the South West.

The award ceremony was held at the Mercure Holland House Hotel and Spa on Thursday 22nd November 2018.

With the awards receiving just under 3,000 applications, winning is an incredible achievement for Apollo Teaching Services. The Entrepreneurs’ Team of the Year category acknowledges the hard work that each member of Apollo Teaching Services contributes to the company, and is a testament to the dedication Faith and Lee pour into Apollo.

Faith and Lee would like to say a huge thank you to Angela Painter, Operations Director of Apollo Teaching Services, for her tireless work not just in her role as Operations Director, but also in collating the information that allows Apollo to celebrate the wonderful achievement of winning this award. Without Angela’s dedication and commitment to Apollo, Apollo Teaching Services wouldn’t be able to celebrate another fantastic success!

The judges for the awards included founders of some of Great Britain’s most successful businesses, and the standard of entries was incredibly high. Previous winners of the Nat West Great British Entrepreneur Awards have included Spectrum Collections, Tangle Teezer and Brewdog.

Apollo Teaching Services faced tough competition, and were up against ‘Systemagic Ltd.’, ‘Rin Hamburgh & Co’, and ‘Hang Fire Southern Kitchen’ in the shortlist for the Entrepreneurs’ Team of the year category. All businesses were very deserving of their position on the shortlist, and we’d like to congratulate the shortlisted businesses in every category.

The evening itself was fabulous.

Darren Pirie, Head of Entrepreneur Development at Nat West and Francesca James, founder of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards gave very entertaining and informative speeches to open the evening and it was wonderful to hear from so many true entrepreneurs over the course of the night. The awards were a true celebration.
