In January 2019 the ‘My Activity Passport’ will launch across all schools.
The ‘passport’ is a list of activities for Primary children that aims to encourage family time and provide children with more experiences. From social action to performance and poetry, the list encompasses a wide variety of opportunities that can be adapted by local communities and schools.
The passport is ‘part of the Education Secretary’s vision for every child to have the opportunity to enjoy new and varied experiences, no matter their background’.
Endorsed by Scouts, Girlguiding and the National Trust, the passport recognises the importance of developing skills outside of the academic curriculum.
