Living Well in Lockdown

Over the last few weeks, we have shared our ‘Living Well in Lockdown’ sessions on our social media pages.

These sessions are led by Lloyd Ashley, and follow a similar format to the free ‘Healthy Living with Lloyd Ashley’ sessions we have been running for our schools over the last academic year.

Lloyd is a professional rugby player for the Ospreys and has recently also started his own company ‘Living Well with Lloyd Ashley’ that encourages people to be more open about their mental health.

Just like our face to face session, Lloyd’s Lockdown session is split into 2 parts:

Part 1 is a presentation based session that covers the importance of eating well, being aware of what you eat, and allowing yourself the occasional treat.

Part 2 is exercise based, and consists of a warm up, circuit, skills exercises and finishes with a challenge. The full programme of Part 2 (including timings and repetitions) can be found below the video, at the bottom of this page. The session is suitable for all ages and abilities.

If you’d like to take part in the challenge Lloyd sets at the end of the video, we’d love to see your attempts! Email us a video, or tag us in your social posts – @ApolloTeaching.

We’d love it if you watched the session, and shared it with your friends and family. We know how important it is to keep fit and active in lockdown, and we really hope this video will give you the encouragement you need to do just that!

If you are from a school and would like to share our video with your pupils, please get in touch and we’ll send it through to you!

Go on, get your sports kit on and give it a go!
