Are you fed up of taking sandwiches and a bag of crisps to school every day?
Constantly taking sandwiches to work can get boring and repetitive. After a morning in the classroom wouldn’t it be great to have an exciting lunch to look forward to? Here are some ideas for a healthy, filling lunch:
1. Overnight Oats
The same ingredients as porridge, but twice as exciting!
Put rolled oats and milk into a mason jar or bowl. Top with a yoghurt and frozen raspberries. Leave in the fridge overnight and take a jar of deliciousness into work the next day!
2. Homemade Soup
In this cold weather there’s nothing better than tucking into a steaming hot bowl of soup – and it tastes better when you’ve made it yourself. Cook a batch on Sunday evening, split it into microwavable bowls and buy some crusty bread for dipping.

3. Greek Salad Wraps
For when you fancy something lighter for lunch. Fill a large soft tortilla with tomatoes, olives, cucumber, feta and hummus. Cut in half and enjoy! Find the full recipe here.
4. DIY Pot Noodles
If you’re anything like me, the idea of a pot noodle is better than actually eating it. But with this recipe, you’ll have the fun of an instant meal with none of the regret.
5. Homemade Sushi
This one might take a little bit more preparation but if you’re a sushi fan it’s definitely worth it. Make enough on a Sunday to last for a week and you’ll be counting down the minutes until the lunch bell.
