Easter Competition Winner 2019!

Thank you to everyone who entered our Easter poetry competition this year, we enjoyed reading every single one!

We received some fantastic entries for our Easter poetry competition, covering everything from fluffy bunnies, to melting chocolate, and of course, Jesus and the Easter story. It was incredible difficult to select our winners because so many entries were truly outstanding, and a credit to their authors.

The time, effort and detail that had gone into creating entries that were not just poems, but works of art, made the decision process even harder.

We’d like to say a big congratulations to our winner, Lilia Evans from Abercarn Primary School! Lilia has won herself a fantastic Easter hamper full of chocolate, crafts and treats.

Congratulations must also go to our two runners up: Nathan Jack Jarvis from Ysgol Carreg Hir and Hannah Wilson from Cwmnedd Primary School! We hope you both enjoy your Mini Egg Easter Eggs!

We couldn’t resist sharing a selection of our entries with you, so please enjoy reading some of these fantastic poems written by talented young authors from across the UK. If you didn’t manage to enter this competition, please keep an eye out for our next competition advertised on our website or social media pages!
