Dan is the manager of Apollo Pontypridd and has been with the company for 8 years. After popping into Head Office earlier today, we thought it was a good time to have a chat and find out what working for Apollo is like for him.
What has your career path been since you started with Apollo?
I started with Apollo 8 years ago as a sales consultant in the Tondu branch. Since then I have progressed to a senior consultant and then to be given the fantastic opportunity to be an office manager in the Pontypridd office. My role has developed over the years to now becoming part of the Senior leadership team in Apollo.
How has Apollo changed since you started working here?
When I first started with Apollo we were just in the one office in Tondu. We now have 8 offices throughout the UK, giving the best service possible to our schools and teachers alike. Even though the company has grown the Apollo ethos has never changed and has always kept that personal touch.
What is the dynamic like in Apollo between the staff?
Apollo is such a warm and friendly place to work for. I feel a valued part in this close knit family. Everyone works and helps each other and there’s a real sense of belonging to something special.
Why do you love working for Apollo?
I have loved working for Faith, Lee and Angela from the very first day that I started with the company. Apollo runs through my body and am proud to represent the company and its ethos.
Where do you see Apollo in 5 years time?
The opportunities with Apollo are endless. If you’re offered a seat on a rocket ship, don’t ask which one. Just take it.
