Angela’s Apollo Story: 10 Years

Angela is Operations Director for Apollo Teaching Services, and as of this week, she’s been with Apollo for ten years. You’ll probably recongise Ang from her Q&A video on our Facebook page, along with her birthday photo shoot. We thought this was a perfect time to catch up with Angela and ask her a few questions to reflect on her time with Apollo.

Let’s start with the basics. Can you give us some background information about you?

My name is Angela Painter. I work across all offices in the Apollo chain as Operations Director. My interests are travelling; spending time with my ever-growing family and going to the theatre.

You play such a huge role in Apollo, I know it must be difficult to define what you do on a day-to-day basis, but could you talk us through a typical day for you with Apollo?

I visit all offices across England and Wales, so I’m always on the go. I work with the Apollo team to aide and develop their experience and knowledge in the education sector. Our staff play a key role in enriching the learning experience of all school age pupils, and I help to encourage that.

What is your favourite thing about working for Apollo?

I love working along-side all our staff. I think knowing that I have a comprehensive role in the development of Apollo as a company and that we are providing a safe educational learning experience for all pupils under the care of an Apollo staff member is highly rewarding.

Angela is an incredibly valued member of staff here at Apollo, and an excellent manager, so we’d all like to say a huge congratulations to her for reaching the ten year milestone. We look forward to the next ten years!
