National Network – The March Sessions are on! Join the March sessions of our National Network for Curriculum implementation! Curriculum Design, Qualifications Reform, and Welsh History, Black, Asian and Ethnic Minorities Histories are all on the menu. 

The situation in the Ukraine: We are all currently exercised and distressed by the ongoing situation in the Ukraine and we know from experience that children and young people are often very aware of what is going on in the wider world.  How do we speak to them about the current conflict and support them in critically understanding the background to it?  The WCIA has produced a web-page here, blog and a list of suggested resources. Also of interest great blog on the role of peace education at times of war and crisis.  Not easy – but this may be of help.

And, in line with the Co-operation Agreement with Plaid Cymru, we have extended this commitment to deliver a phased expansion of early years provision to include all two-year-olds, with a particular emphasis on strengthening Welsh-medium provision.
