Careers Wales is pleased to invite teachers and pupils from secondary schools, special schools and pupil referral units (PRUs) to a week-long programme of work-related activities from 4th to 8th July.
Education Maintenance Allowance
Recognised schools and learning centres across Wales should have received copies of our EMA application forms to share with learners before the end of term. Seeing how your learners are progressing
Personalised assessment progress reports are updated each time an assessment is taken in order to build up a picture of learner and class/group progress over time. Have you scheduled assessments yet this year to find out how your learners are progressing? Remember, the personalised assessments are statutory in the 2021-2022 school year and the requirements are set out in the Administration Handbook
Build on your knowledge of the Reasoning assessments
A new pre-recorded webinar on using the reasoning reports and accompanying resources is now available. This follows an earlier webinar ‘An introduction to Numeracy (Reasoning)’, published in March.
MIS reminder for schools
Please remember, when learners transfer to another school in Wales, their Personalised Assessment data transfers with them. This includes learners moving from primary school to secondary school.
